In this context, the...

Re: Anyone tried provent?
I so agree with you 49er! It would seem many people here are very adverse to new ideas or even people raising the topic of alternatives to CPAP. CPAP is obviously an excellent treatment for some people ... but not everyone and you can't blame people for looking into various options that may be avai...

I've been on beef ranches and dairy farms.
It is not the cows you are smelling.
Cows have a pleasant smell, are warm and nice to rub.

Re: How does Denver (altitude and pollution) affect OSA
I guess it is terribly impractical, but everyone who uses CPAP would be better off if they lived seaside. The greater density of the air is a big help. Even small changes in elevation make a big difference. My house is at 700 feet. Every summer I stay a couple of weeks with my sister who lives on th...

Re: OT: Daily Funny bone
is too funny to be dirty - enjoy! The husband leans over and asks his wife, 'Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you.' Yes, she says, 'I remember it well.' OK,' he says, ...

Why such secrecy?
The link for v3.16 is http://www.resmed.com/int/assets/html/s ... ister.html
If you need an older version just substitute that version number for 3.16.

5. Medicare requires compliance docmentation, so you may be asked to send in your data card so the DME can get that data. Be sure to back up the data on the card, because sometimes it doesn't get returned. I download my data regularly and let the download program erase the data. Will I have a probl...

How hard any given individual tried to make CPAP work before turning to this device is irrelevant, IMO. To the contrary, I have been following this thread since it started and I think that (how hard tried) is the point and it is especially the point for newbies. Since Corky appears to know very lit...

I believe this excerpt from a post from Johnny bears repeating: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20895&p=179739#p179739 My approach to moderating cpaptalk is well known. If you allow some political content now, how out of hand will it get later this year with this exceptional election year? I am very much looking forward to how CPAPers feel about the candidates! Why do you think it will get out of hand? These things are always confined to a few threads. For the lif...
