Re: Chris8243 Therapy Thread
I'm back. Never left, but haven't looked for support/advice in almost a year. Nutshell: been a CPAP-er for 2-1/2 yrs. Always full face mask (or hybrid) because I can't breathe thru my nose sufficiently. Even when I just try & sit quietly, I have to eventually open my mouth to get a good breath of ai...

Re: Is there a Respironics battery guide somewhere?
I picked this up https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P6H994Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And then installed a cigarette lighter plug in my 5th Wheel RV just in case we ever need to spend a night without shore power while traveling. I am sure this would probably work with or the...

Re: How to de-stress from work prior to bed?
Since I retired in 2013, it is doubtful that anything can be done about any residual stress now. can i come over to your house and stand right next to you and say "i'm not touching you." over and over? Maybe if you wear your CPAP get-up! You outta try wearing that out food shopping or somewhere you...

Re: Questions about filters for DreamStation Auto CPAP
The filters are for the air going in that will come out of the hose - not for the benefit of the machine ( as you stated "a dirty filter causes the machine to operate hotter."). No, it's for your benefit, not the machines. No, the OP is perfectly correct, the filter is for the benefit of the machin...

Re: OSCAR - Compliance Data Report for Insurance
If you own the machine outright, which you stated that you do, no one will be checking your compliance. It's yours, use it or don't, basically no one cares. "Compliance" is only for the insurance company, to justify them to continue making payments. They don't care about Oscar data or any kind of re...

Re: Oscar Has Stopped Working
Hmmmm, I downloaded Oscar a few says ago and imported my data. Been on the forum several years, used Sleepyhead, hadn't looked at my data in probably 9 months and was motivated to do so the other day.
No issues. Been using the same SD card since I started 2-1/2 years ago and it was all there.

Re: Questions about filters for DreamStation Auto CPAP
When I wash my washable filter (It's black foam) after the very good rinse, I put it in a cotton towel and squeeze it dry as good as I can get it more than once. Then let it air dry, a fan will speed drying up if needed. Jim Good advice! A fan is a good idea, but not for the winter. I will try a pa...

Re: Are there any good sleep doctors/clinics?
Yes. In Montana, I like my sleep doctor. He's an internal medicine guy who then studied sleep disorders & works in a "Sleep & Respiratory Center" in a hospital. I didn't know this from the beginning, but he told me he has sleep apnea, so he "gets it." Doesn't mind at all that I change my own setting...

"Dawn Vinaigrette". Makes the laundry taste so good. And leaves a pleasant aroma.

Re: Weird leaking issue with F30 elbow valve after washing
I happen to have read your post AND had washed my whole set-up that day. I thought, well, that's never happened to me. Lo and behold, that night it happened! A loud noise coming from the swivel, I knew it was that from holding my fingers over it. Ughhhhh. I took it off, looked carefully, didn't see ...
