Re: Airsense10 heating fault... buying used?
Hi rfd, Just a thought, have you tried to reset machine? Unplug wait couple seconds and plug back in. I dont know if that will help but it wont hurt. Something else to ask about when buying used, PETS. I have bought 2 of my machines used from CL and am very happy with both. I gave 200 for my latest ...

Re: Addressing GERD / hiatal hernia
I've had Gerd and a HH for 30 years. been on omeprazole for 15 years until recently, my Dr said a new study said it could lead to loss of memory so he put me on ranitidine. Not as good as omeprazole but it gets the job done. Never thought about surgery.

Re: 2nd night, heated hose tore
You should keep a spare hose on hand for such emergencies. I suggest you order two. Also, call you DME and report that the hose is defective. They ought to replace it. If they agree to replace it, I suggest still ordering one hose to keep on hand as a spare. Do you read before you post??? She said ...

Re: Advice for Pregnancy & Sleep Apnea
Hi Sadie, I use the mirage quattro FFM, sleep on my side with NO problem. I found me a pillow in between firm & soft so when I lie down I kind of make a imprint in my pillow and I have found that helps my mask stay lined up. I also use a pad-a-cheek liner which helps a bunch. You just have to try di...

Re: FFM recommendation needed- I have a “weak chin”
Hi TG, I don't know if I have a weak chin or not But, I use a Resmed quattro FFM, normally a medium with a pad a cheek liner. Now when I want to wash the liner I will swap to my backup mask, a resmed quattro FF SMALL with pad a cheek and I have noticed the small rides up on my bottom lip more than t...

Re: How to power off the "cooling down" mode on S9 ResMed
Do all S9 machines have the ability to use the climate hose? Mine did not come with one. Can I make it work (by using the clinician menu) if I get one? I have disabled Smart Start. (Thanks)
I believe they all accept the heated hose, yes you can set your machine for a heated hose......

Re: anxiety to masks and the forced air
Hi newto, I to had a bad case of claustrophobia when I went for my sleep study, I took some meds with me so I could sleep, tolerate the mask. I used a FFM at work for years with no problems, you ask what changed? They turned off the lights. Long story short when I got home and my wife and I were sit...

My 10 Auto Set made the same noise being discussed, my fix, set it on a towel placed on the floor beside the bed. Problem solved, I check my filters more than before but the sleep is worth it....

Re: An Apria Tale wilth Good Ending for Me
Crapria called yesterday and said my Fitlife Total Mask wasn't available any more. They said I had to get the Mirage Quattro. I asked did the Philips quit making the Fitlife, or you can't get it anymore ( I normally have to order it and it takes about 6 weeks to get). She wouldn't answer the questi...

Re: An Apria Tale wilth Good Ending for Me
I am mandated to use Apria. I only pay Apria online with a credit card. Should anything go sideways (as it has a couple of times), the credit card issuer has been more than helpful in getting me a chargeback. As soon as I mention, "Apria," I don't even have to go into too much detail. They understa...

Re: Taking mask off when turning to sleep on side
What mask?? Full face, nasal?? Try to acclimate on your side, u might just doze off. Try wearing your mask watching tv to get really, really used to it, it works. But enter your machine & mask so others can answer you better....been there, done that...
