Your time is worth something as well. If your insurance company will reimburse out of pocket, I'd go that route and just order from cpap.com.

Rolling on your heated hose is just fine. It usually works and is safe to use. STEPPING on your heated hose usually breaks the wire. You can still use the hose, but it won't eliminate rainout. I try to remember to use clips to keep the hose away from the floor now.
