The mask is supposed to inflate...thats what makes the seal. If there is farting, it is a fitting problem.

My last machine I used a 2gb card for 5 + years. How large is your SD Card? Where are you looking to see your old data?

Why is that old data needed? Are you using Oscar?

Curious: how did you figure out where to set your max pressure? Also, while I'm thinking about it: do you check for leaks at that max pressure?
