Re: Cpap on battery power-Real world results.

n reference to my earlier post about my batteries being discharged after one night on the old respironics cpap, i have 2 Kyocera solar panels(80 & 75 watt), a pair of Concorde AGM 6 volt 220 ah batteries, an Intellipower PD9145A converter along with a Charge Wizard. Re: Pillar implants

I never felt it after the first couple of days, but one of them did "eject" and for the life of me, I can't remember if the doc removed it or it just went back in. Little enough trouble that it didn't make an impression. They leave them in and I never was bothered by the one or both.

Re: Pillar implants

I had the pillar procedure and it was easy and painless, but didn't help my snoring.

Re: Cpap on battery power-Real world results.

This mystifies me, I wish I had the specs on my RV battery setup, but I know there were 2 of them, and they were always discharged almost completely after one night of running my old respironics cpap. Does this sound crazy"?

Sometimes a soft cervical collar helps with leaks, you can buy them at the drugstore.

Re: 6 weeks in, no improvement whatsoever, losing all hope.

We are very fortunate to have people like Robysue who are knowledgable and have had the problems that she has to draw support from. Pay close attention to her every word and take it to heart. She absolutely knows what she is talking about.

Re: Does a O2 level of 87 at high altitude really require CPAP?

When they first suspected I had OSA, they hooked me up to an oxygen machine to see if that would bring the O2 levels up, but after a while, they weren't much better, so they went to CPAP> the reason being, if you can't take in the air properly, you can't get the oxygen. So you are on the right track...

Re: TERRIBLE Anxiety trying to breathe against pressures

If you're worried about getting wound up in the hose, get a "hose management system" which might be no more than a "command hook" fastened to your headboard, so you can hang your hose up out of your way. Seems nobody mentioned EPR - exhale pressure relief, so that when you breathe out, the pressure ...

Hardly ever travel, but I suppose the 3 trips I've had to lug my S9 through lately will be my last now that this little beauty is coming.

I, too am a loyal Activa user, and a searcher - nothing I have found works as well, but haven't tried the FF masks.
