Re: OSCAR is Released
Well I tried it last night with these observations 1. I use Flashair and copy the SD card to my computer, then import. I can set up Flashair to copy the data wirelessly then to exit and start up my sleep analysis software. I was able to change Flashair from Sleepyhead to Oscar and it start just fine...

Re: OSCAR is Released
Look forward to trying the new software. I'd also like to give a heartfelt thanks to Jedimark (Mark Watkins) for all of the pioneering programming he and others did to bring it as far as they did. Thank you and the others too for being willing and able to continue with the next iteration of software...

Re: New Member seeking information
Hi I saw that they managed to get the RDI down to 0 with a pressure at 9. Unfortunately it also dropped the oxygen saturation down to 86% Is is possible or wise to have oxygen supplementation added to your cpap? You're already wearing the hose, so it's attached to the hose before the mask. You as a ...

Re: New Addition to the Forum
Hi This is more for Pugsy than the OP, but the pressure indicated in the graph on the night with 50.x is around 5, but the nights when the AHI is in the 12's the pressure line is around 11 with a relief down to 8.2? This could account for the dramatic increase in AHI? Could the OP have accidentally ...

Re: Watch for upcoming news about the Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask
Jason said on his video there’s some kind of skin film you can put on your face called Cavilon. I just googled it. It’s used to stop sweat and oily skin from shedding the tape. I would suggest you try this link. https://www.amazon.com/Cavilon/b/ref=bl_dp_s_web_7919029011?ie=UTF8&node=7919029011&fie...

Re: My Story, Next Steps
So my question then: people here go for years with CPAP? They find a pressure setting and use it for decades? Is there any downside to this constant regimen, other than some hassles when traveling or camping? Hi A xpap machine is very much like a pair of glasses. You can wear them a life time and t...

Re: Systane Nighttime Eye Gel - No More? Alternative?
Yeah, but if you look at those third-party sellers, they want $40 for a tube when it normally retails at like $12-15 a tube. Something's up. I like the gumminess of the nighttime gel and am wary of anything thinner, that it won't plug my tear ducts enough overnight. Guess I will try the regular Sys...

Re: Sleepyhead Oximeter data wrong day
Hi There are two things that might be affecting your readings. 1. Sleepyhead reminds you that you need to import the cpap data first. I don't know if the lack of cpap data would confuse Sleepyhead or not. 2. Sleepyhead views a day as noon to noon. If you record something at 5:00pm and 7:00 am the ne...

Re: Dreamstation gives me low therapy hours
So... I downloaded sleepyhead and checked out the SD card. It is showing my last use was 9/18/2018.. so it hasn't been working for a while. When I put it back into the dreamstation it says "SD card error remove and reinsert" Hi You could try to remove the card, and gently rub the contacts on the ca...

I have a dream
Here's to a dream that should have been. Dr Martin Luther King born 15 January 1929. I was 7 years old at the time and didn't understand who he was, but I do remember when he was assassinated it was announced on TV. I remember how deeply it affected my Mom when I told her that he had been killed. Ma...

Re: Sturdy travel case?
Hi, I travel a lot by air and was wondering if anyone knows of a sturdy travel case I could use that will fit my dreamstation, humidifier, tubing, cable, and full face mask? The one that came with it is super soft and flimsy and I have to awkwardly stuff the full face mask and cable in and squish i...

Re: Stomach virus and cpap
I can’t find a definitive answer. I have a terrible stomach bug. If I use the cpap to try and sleep does the virus get in the cpap and then just keep passing back to me? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Relatively new and just don’t want to use it if it traps the virus but also can’t sleep a wink ...

Re: New here, help with older machine
Hi you might have an older machine but you haven't been using it too much. You probably don't have too many motor hours on the machine. I wouldn't worry excessively about a new machine or titration study yet. Let's get some data and let the resident experts give you some ideas. If things look okay w...
