I'm sure they work for what they say they will do which is sanitize. It won't clean anything though and if you have a build up of nasties who knows if it can sanitize through that whole build up. Have you tried loosening your mask straps a bit so it doesn't pinch?
As far as dryness goes are you well hydrated in general? Do you smoke at all or right before bed or even vape?

Yeah Im using an auto and I have to have the straps as tight as I do or the mask starts to leak from around top of nose area.

I keep mine kind of loose and sometimes if it wants to leak while I'm on side if I move my head while it's on pillow to stretch the mask part it will seal it up.
