Re: Rem Sleep Disorder
what drugs are you on? we went too high with my cymbalta i had similar reactions. we dropped the dose back down and all that stuff went away. I seriously think you need to see a neurologist. a neurologist should know what is causing this and how to control it. i just don't think it's an apnea treatm...

Re: CPAP users under the age of 30: where you at?

Acting out your dreams can also be caused by certain anti-anti-anxiety drugs like cymbalta.

Re: Gobsmacked-- had sleep study, and now I don't have apnea anymore?!?
I'm not a fan of neurologists & ent's and apnea. find a board certified pulmonologist that specializes in sleep apnea. pulmonologists are better schooled in the lungs and airway. that's their only job.

Re: Sleep Doctor doesn't look at data
not too many years ago there was no data to look at, believe it or not. some machines are still prescribed that have no valuable data. many doctors are from that old school era where their only indicator was how you felt. if your doctor chooses to live in that era, about the only thing you can do is...

Re: Help getting my CMS50D+ to connect to OSCAR
your oximeter does not connect to oscar. you run the disk that came with it to set up the spo program. you download your data to spo and when you run oscar it finds your data ans imports it.

Re: Pressure Of 12 - Is Ramping Advised?
if you are having trouble with straight 12, forget the ramp and start at a pressure you can use all night. then go can slowly start raising the straight pressure in increments up to 12. in no time you will be up to 12 and all will be well in sleepyville with your doc.

Re: Doh! Bleached my mask
I would be scared to death to use it. if you can smell bleach i guess its little bleach particles in the air. you have to decide if you want to take the chance that some form of bleach will go through your nose to the olfactory epithelium and down into the lungs all night. I would personally put it ...

You have to call your insurance company with this kind of question. they are the only ones that can answer this question.

My DME gives donated CPAP's to people that need one and can't afford one. Call the DME's in your area and find one that does this.

Re: Medicare that gets supplies free?
you're welcome. the part people don't understand about a military career is that you start when you're say 20 and retire with half of your pay at 40ish. but, there's always a but, unless you learned some kind of a trade that you can transfer to civilian work, when you're looking for work you're comp...

Re: Medicare that gets supplies free?
I am so grateful for tricare for life which of course is a government program for retired military and not really an insurance program. i pay my medicare part b premium and nothing for tricare for life. Then medicare pays their 80% and tricare for life pays the other 20% plus the medicare deductible...
