Glad you finally got a good scrip out of them!
Did you need me for something, Jim?

Re: much better night, but...
Well, I think you might try out the Sleepweaver elan. At cpap.com you can get it with free shipping and free return insurance. Just be sure to add on a small cushion for $15.00. I love mine, I sleep on my side with my face buried into the pillow. It's quiet, comfortable, soft, and doesn't hurt my fa...

Re: advice on stopping leaks with a sleepweaver elan mask
I love my élan and have great results with it. My AHI is always 1 or lower and leaks are not too bad. My results keeping leaks in check improved when I switched to the small cushion. I only use the cushion once or twice, then I wash it. My straps are just loose enough I can slip it over my head to t...

Re: Grrr...no sleep :(
I'm not sure if the aromatherapy will help you if you can't smell it. It might calm you, but it won't really accomplish what I was suggesting - giving you a calm focus while falling asleep. I don't know what your experiences are with yoga. I am a yoga instructor (not currently teaching) At the end o...

Re: New Wisp nasal mask in stock at cpap.com
I would like to order but don't know which headgear to choose. Is the fabric soft like the fabric on the Sleepweaver elan? I like the elan's headgear most to the time.

Re: Grrr...no sleep :(
When I first started out on cpap six months ago the noises bothered me a little too. I ordered the Pur Sleep calm and clear set of aromatherapy. Then when I went to bed or woke up in the night I would focus on the scent and not the sound. It would keep my brain engage enough to drift off to sleep.

Re: Grrr...no sleep :(
Do you have the funds to try another mask in addition to what you get from the DME? I started off with the Swift FX Bella, and just didn't like the feeling of pillows. My air is only set at 7 and I don't know, it just felt kind of smothering to me having the pillows in my nose. After switching to th...

Re: Titration last night...not fun
My titration was a nightmare!!! Inexperienced tech strapped on a poor fitting nasal mask WAY to tightly!! I was in so much pain I kept waking up during the study and was crying at one point. Actually using my machine at home is nothing like that! I use the Sleepweaver Elan cloth mask and also tried ...

Pugsy - would you send me the link also, please? I just received a "low mileage" F&P Icon from MCDover. I still need to learn how to set it up and use it. Thanks!

Re: New TAP PAP mask review
I use a night guard. When I get up in the morning, I rinse it with cold water. At night when I brush my teeth, I brush it out with my toothpastey toothbrush and rinse it again. Just in case that might help.

Re: New mask
Very interesting. I have used a night guard for years, so that part wouldn't bother me. I am pretty in love with my elan, though. Awaiting the review.

Re: Sleepweaver Elan
I don't have a lot of experience, I've only been at this for about five months. I started out with the Swift FX. I switched to the élan because I prefer the softness, I didn't really like nasal pillows, and the venting on the Swift FX blew on my sheets and drove me crazy I prefer the slight amount o...
