Re: Here we go again or the saga continues

So now what....... How about contacting Medicare directly and cutting these yahoos out of the discussion? You shouldn't need a new sleep study. Medicare will tell you if you do or not...I am betting the yahoos at both places don't know their butt from a hole in the ground and you got the pat answer...

Re: Breathing during excerise

As a person in a similar situation, I question the feasibility of trying to do this. I admire your desire, I truly do, but I'm just not sure it's realistic. I'm not sure they make a machine designed for this. Not saying they don't, but I've never heard of one. Even if you could find a machine that w...

Re: Breathing during excerise

Hi and welcome to the forum! I have the same issue with breathing issues during physical activity - walking, reaching, etc. They called it "exercise intolerance." I get very out of breath and weak during any physical activity. That being said - it's never been suggested that I use a machine during t...

Re: Trilogy 100 and the vest 105 for sale

As one of the handful of people here that would have any interest in a Trilogy, I get concerned when people are selling them, especially people I don't know here. When I first started on the Trilogy in early 2010 and through today, I have been told by my insurance and DME (two of them) that patients...

Re: Newbie with questions about the CMS50F oximeter

On my old 50F, recording a new session overwrote any other data. It didn't clear any other way.

Hope this helps.

Re: Need to buy Trilogy100 -

As a current patient, I can attest to the cost of these things. I was told that patients are not allowed (bad word but the one I was given) to purchase the Trilogy. It was (still is for me) a perpetual rental. For many years, my DME charged $1500 a month rental and Medicare paid 1495 of it. That ren...

Re: Side sleeper+Full face mask suggestions

Although many people don't like it, I use the F&P 431. It's the only mask I've ever been able to use consistently. And I sleep ONLY on my sides. I found that mask to be very prone to leaks at high pressure, so as always YMMV. I'm not saying it never leaks, but my minimum pressure is 18 and for the ...

Thank you, Johnny. I know this is something you really didn't want to do.

Tough for you, but I applaud your decision to make these changes. I think it will be better for the forum and help keep the mission of it on track.

Re: The difference a mask can make!

Hello, I was on the machine for close to six months before coming out of the Fog. I was getting a solid 8-9 hours of sleep and was still brutally exhausted. Just kept with my routine and now I feel much better. Never thought I had an issue until my sleep study showed my 02 was down below 72%. Got r...

I think it's time you got off your pity pot and instead of focusing on nothing but negativity and "nothing works" start focusing on what can and will work. If nothing else, a better attitude will make you feel better. Because your attitude truly sucks. I know you have more issues and they have much...

Re: Trelawney finally called

Unlike Max, I am willing to investigate the possibility of Integrative Doctors being helpful. After ruling out many of them as they sounded like they were offering a bunch of BS, I found one who may be a possibility. I am going to call his office to get a better sense of whether I am right or now. ...
