I've already had a 30 day follow up with the doc. They read my data, but the DME has to read it as well.
It's a standard SD data card. Binsons is right by my office. I will stop by with the card and hopefully get
it right back.
If not, they are cheap at OfficeMax.

Re: DME wants my data card. Not sure I believe them.
Ok, that sounds good. My DME (Binsons in Michigan) kinda aggravated me with their approach. They never told me anything about the compliance requirement. I heard about it here on cpaptalk, but my first contact with Binsons was via an automated message. They called my phone and berated me with a reco...

Re: I'm New - almost met compliance
I agree. My requirement is the same, but they told me that I have three tries (90 days) to show 21 of 30 days.

DME wants my data card. Not sure I believe them.
My DME contacted me and told me they need my data card to confirm compliance. Here is what they told me: "" Send us your data card and we'll either send it back to you or send you a new card. Don't worry, your machine will continue collecting data and nothing will be lost "" If that's the case, then...

Re: I'm New - almost met compliance
My DME told me that I have three tries to prove compliance. They will check at 30 days, 60, and 90. When I show adequate compliance, they will
send the data to the insurance company. Maybe you have a similar plan ? Check with your DME.

I think my ears were put on too high
I've been using the Swift LT for a few weeks now and the straps are digging into my ear. As seen in the pic, there is no adjustment for this. The manequin head has ears that are a bit lower than mine, so not much trouble in the pic. It appears that my ears were simply placed too high on my head and ...

Re: Doc recommends stimulant ? ?
Thanks to all. I will give it a try. My doc also requested a thyroid check. I am gaining about 1lb per week and have
put on 25 lbs this year so far. Just can't get the energy to exercise and the weight keeps coming.
Currently 5'11" and 225 lbs (47 years old)

Doc recommends stimulant ? ?
Just had my first 30-day check-up with my sleep doc. My average AHI is down to 1.5 and she felt the CPAP therapy was working as it should. When I explained that I was greatly improved, but still tired on some days, she said that she prescribes a stimulant for people that are not getting where they n...

Re: Machine too Loud
I think everyone reacts to noise differently. I have found that my girlfriend and I are both bothered by noises at night, but rarely does the same noise bother either of us. I agree with Robysue about the conducted noises. I have the same CPAP as the original poster and I was plagued by noise as wel...

Re: Can the mask cause serious damage to my eyes?
Do you absolutely need to cover your mouth with a mask ? Some people here are successful with a
nasal mask (nose only) and chinstrap to keep their mouth shut.

Re: Is bipap difficult?
Can someone provide a overview on BIPAP. I am using CPAP and I don't know what BIPAP's do differently. My CPAP with C-flex lowers the pressure
when I exhale. Does that make it a BIPAP ? Who needs a BIPAP ? People with central sleep apnea ?

Re: AHI of 2.1 is good enough ?
Thanks for the responses. I'll have to download my data and look at what the range of AHI is.
So far, I've only looked at the 7 day and 30 day average. Maybe there are some 10's and 0's
that are balancing the equation.
