Re: Masks for dry eye sufferers
I use the Simplus full face mask by Fisher and Pakel. It vents out and makes a good seal that does not leak out towards my eyes at all. I highly recommend it.

Re: Airesnse 10 On/OFf switch led
You try to get back to sleep with your eyes open? With that logic why not just leave the night stand light on or the TV on all night. It just happens that I like the room dark, enough said. Why not what now? The night stand light or TV are a lot brighter than the tiny little light on the CPAP machi...

Re: Airesnse 10 On/OFf switch led
Have you ever seen a person lighting up a cancer stick as they are leaving the gym? No, but I've been known to stop at the convenient store on the way home from the gym and grab a cold Heineken to chill chill out after a tough work out So you put back in all those carbs into your system after a wor...

Re: Airesnse 10 On/OFf switch led
Oh for heaven's sake, just put a strip of black electrician's tape over the damn light and dose away. Sometimes these threads are like Monty Pythons skit on swallows carrying coconuts. The light is so dim (especially when it's dimmed down) that I can't imagine how it would possibly keep anyone awak...

Re: Airesnse 10 On/OFf switch led
How can the light bother you if your eyes are closed at night when you're supposed to be sleeping when using the machine? If you bothered to notice in my original post: Sometimes, when I wake up and can't get back to sleep after about 5hrs of usage, I will just remove the mask and turn the machine ...

Consider having your doctor lower your pressure. That worked for me.

Well now that is just no fun!chunkyfrog wrote:Remember, folks; no matter how frustrated you are with your cpap,
DO NOT THROW IT ACROSS THE ROOM!
It voids the warranty.
This is why it's a good idea to always have a backup humidifier chamber on hand- just in case the one you're using develops a sudden leak!

Re: My Airsense 10 Autoset leaked water
There was a bad production run of humidifier chambers (a bad welding job meant that the seam wasn't made waterproof) so yes, some of the humidifier chambers leak. All you can do is replace it with another one. Mine started leaking out of the blue a few days ago much to my surprise!

Cover the light with a small piece of duct tape.
