Re: New n30i cushion
I checked three of the on line vendors and only cpapmyway had the new design cushion. I got it in four days. I was happy with their service. FInally got it, about 2 weeks after ordering *smile*. Glad that you did better, but I don't really trust cpapmyway after the mess that I mentioned above. I wo...

Re: New n30i cushion
Well well well...When I ordered the replacement cushions on Cpapmyway the web site said that they were in stock. And I got a notice that they were shipped June 1. Nothing yet, over a week later, so I called Cpapmyway, and they just shipped them today. Apparently they were out of stock when the web s...

Re: New n30i cushion
Well I slept with the new n30i cushion last night. It was very comfortable, leak rate was 6 L/M and my AHI was 0.0. Slept very well and the cushion was quite comfortable . The only issue was when I wanted to remove the cushion to clean it this morning I found it a little difficult to remove. The ol...

Re: New n30i cushion
Just received the upgraded n30i cushion. I will try it tonight and report my findings. Looking forward to hearing about your experience. I'm half way there, have a new N30i mask now with the old nasal cushion. Waiting on the new nasal cushions to arrive *smile*. Also noticed that mask return insura...

Re: New n30i cushion
Yes, CPAPmyway does seem to have it, they say "In Stock". Unfortunately, they show the old one on the full mask, and I'll have to buy a full mask...so a mask plus a replacement cushion. Maybe that's the way it'll be, at least for the time being. There was a period with the Dreamwear where you could ...

Re: New n30i cushion
@mets123 -- I looked on cpap my way but could not find the announcement. Can you post a link? Thanks. Here's a youtube video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0dlfZplmUE Also, from the Australian ResMed store: https://shop.resmed.com.au/resmed-airfit-n30i-nasal-cradle-mask/ Didn't find an ...

Re: New n30i cushion
Keeping an eye out for this one...the diffuse venting alone is one up on the Dreamscape version, and if the nasal cushion gets to be as soft as the Dreamscape one, worth a try. The only thing that I don't like about the Dreamscape is the strong stream of air from the cushion vent. Aside from the wei...

Re: How Long Are Mask Cushions Expected To Last?
Had this problem with my DME until I figured out their racket. They would send me all the supplies that I was elgible for under my insurance, until my house started looking like a wharehouse. Then I told them that they would send supplies when, and only when, I asked for them. Left to their own prof...

Re: Fitting problem - DreamWear nasal cradle
I find that the standard hose for the Dreamwear nasal allows for the best grip of the mask to the head. When I switched to a heated hose to stop "rainout" during the winter months, the added weight tended to pull too much. Wrapping the regular hose with a "Snuggie" worked better than the latter, bu...

Re: Fitting problem - DreamWear nasal cradle
Another person that this mask has worked well for, about the only one that is working for me at the moment. Yes, it does shift around a bit on the top of the head, but that doesn't cause leaks for me. Maybe you could try tightening the adjustment just a bit? That's what makes the difference for me. ...

Re: Equipment Tampering
Seems more likely to me that they've got a "wide-open" pressure range on apap...like 4 - 20cm, and getting wild swings from low to high pressure with detected apneas than having a cpap machine being hacked or tampered with in real time.

Dreamstation 2 looks like a canister vacuum cleaner (for the nose, of course).

Re: Airsense 10 Auto noise level
The noise from the OP's CPAP sounded pretty normal to me, hard to tell how high the volume actually would be for them, though. I'm very sensitive to noise, and am a light sleeper so I use ear plugs to shut out the noise. With earplugs I only hear my own breathing, which is rhythmic and doesn't keep ...

Re: Tolerance to sleep apneas
My understanding (and experience) of sleep apneas is that one doesn't become fully awake. Your body wakes up enough to get the tone back into your throat muscles so that you can breathe again, then back to sleep. Sleep apnea events do disturb your sleep with the survival adrenaline response, but you...
