I've had the exhalation set to maximum (which helped); have tried ramp on, off, auto; and the pressure has been ra...

Re: How long did it take you to get used to cpap?

about 10 years off and on. it was a total struggle for me. the 1st mask I had was the "bubble mask" which I can't even find on the internet lol it blew off my face no matter what I did, so I slept without it. I called and they changed masks. Still blew off my face. so..I quit for a while. that was 1...

Re: So...can't wait till Friday

Re: Help with CAs

question. The AHI is under 5, even though some ARE CA's.....I guess my question would be why would it be a concern? 5 is the arbitrary level chosen by the medical community as technically treated. Lower is generally better and mine has been lower in the past. A few times it has even been less than ...

Re: Help with CAs

question. The AHI is under 5, even though some ARE CA's.....I guess my question would be why would it be a concern? well, for one thing, 5 is a dastardly lie perpetuated by the medical establishment. so....ideally...0 is optimal. that does make sense really. I can see once in a while...not breathin...

Re: What gear to get - no apnea or sleep study

Re: Central vs Obstructive Sleep Apnea

here is the difference when you're (me!) treated good. I WAS on cpap on bipap settings. this was my result. CA were the centrals. I so clearly need an ASV machine. It's very obvious. now, to get medicare convinced in November to pay for it, but if they don't I'll make payments on one with Care Credi...
