I have an M series, non A-flex, with the C-flex turned off and it does the same thing!!!! It started not too long ago and sometimes it gets so loud it wakes me up. It's over three years old so I know it's not under warranty. I have another one in the hold though in case this one goes out. But I don...

Here is a link that may or may not help. I found it a few days ago when I was searching for more info on the Hybrid. You can check it out. http://www.respcare.com/hybrid/video_index.htm There is a printable Fitting Tips guide that is very helpful. Hope this helps. Thank you. I will definitely be ch...

Hybrid owners and aficionados
Those of you who know me know that I am a die hard Resmed UMFF wearer. Unfortunately, I got a pimple on the bridge of my nose that has now morphed into a full blown sore that will not heal. I have had the good fortune of receiving a hybrid from a relative that couldn't stand it and I'm hoping that u...

Well, it finally died...
As a few of you already know, I have been using the same Resmed Ultra Mirage FF for almost three years now. Well, last night it broke. I am devastated. It has been good to me for 2 years and 11 months. RIP buddy. I had to use by backup Respironics comfort full last night. Yuck. I will be buying a ne...

Re: quick editorial review
I used to edit medical books and articles so I had to read boring statistics. I did not check out wrongdiagnosis.com but the numbers are questionable. The percentage of undiagnosed is probably substantially higher than 2-4%. Something else to check out: the figure of 2-4% does not seem to correspon...

Very nice article. Last spring several people on the boards collaborated on an article (it's posted under the yellow lightbulb under Sleep Apnea Awareness). Feel free to borrow whatever you might want from it. I don't see a problem with using facts and figures. Actually, the ones you cited are old....

One more thing, Title Casing Sleep Apnea isn't consistent. I'm guilty of that myself on my blog too and can;t decide (don't know officially) whether it should be title cased in the firts place but either stick with it through out, or don't at all. Yeah, I wasn't sure about that either. I, also, app...

Spelling mistake towards the end "xPAP machines help apnea suffers" You probably mean "sufferers". I'd also hyperlink the long URL you mention half-way, it's pretty un-usable and ugly like that. The article reads well. The info is good. If you really want to make it professional, I'd stop using "I"...

I thought it was pretty good. I'm more of a grammar fanatic and I noticed that you are only single spacing after periods or ends of sentences. You should be double-spacing. Also, to start a sentence with And.... that's a huge boo boo. Other than those simple little things I think the others have co...

Very well written and informative, ts. The more places people run across articles about "sleep apnea", the better! Good job! Thanks RG. My main goal is to just get the message out there. Not bad for a first-timer! Thanks! You introduce the problem as Sleep Apnea. Then further into the article you r...

The only thing I might suggest - a more detailed explanation of how CPAP works. xPAP machines help apnea suffers by forcing air through a tube and mask worn by the sufferer to help alleviate blockages of the airway and stimulate normal breathing. How and where is the mask worn? Face, mouth, nose? H...
