Re: Another forum
Before you reject MyApnea out of hand, consider that it is largely populated by apnea sufferers just like here. In that it also suffers from some of the same misunderstandings and misinformation we often see here. The only way forums such as this elevate the general discourse is for knowledgeable me...

Re: Mask that just covers mouth.
I tried the Liberty and Hybrid both to varying degrees of success. However, I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the nasal connection could be blocked/defeated to result in an oral interface only. Does this strike a bell? I do know the two nasal pillows could be independently sized if one had nar...

I may be wrong, but what I think Granny was suggesting be disregarded was not your post, but rather her initial response which I think she edited.

Re: For Sale: Respironics DreamStation Auto CPAP Machine with Humidifier
If you are unable to find a buyer here you might contact SecondWind CPAP (https://www.secondwindcpap.com) to see how much you can get there. Also, they have excellent prices on new small travel machines and you might be able to negotiate a trade for what you need.

Re: Rebreathing air
My experience with the Brevida mask mirrors Pugsy's recommendation. While the diffuser does just what it says: it diffuses the exhalation, its removal seems to relieve what seems like a slight obstacle to exhalation and allows a much more direct stream of air from the ports. You may well find it pre...

Re: Resmed Lumis 100 - noise issue
I think the OP is not in North America - from what I have gathered the Lumis 100 is an AirCurve with a name used in Asia and elsewhere. The only specific references I have seen related to location were in Australia and India plus one Chinese language manual.

Re: Why AHI goes from 1 to the next day 19.
Do you have SleepyHead? Do you use it? The first thing I would look at would be large leaks. It has been my - admittedly - limited experience that LL are the bane of the PAPing experience and are related to many anomalous results. What do your SH results look like?

Re: 150 Second Apnea Event
... believe it or not, my ResMed myAir app this morning told me that I got a "great score" of 92 out of 100! WTF?!? I'm inclined to trust Sleepy Head who rated my results as "Horrible" this AM. "WTF!," indeed. That's like finishing five minutes behind the winner in a three-person hundred metre dash...

Re: sd card
While what the card now contains cannot probably be recovered, the card itself may be made useable with the SD Association's formatter "overwrite" function followed by the Norton or Windows repair function. You can find the formatter program at: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/ You may ...

Re: Curiosity - perhaps OT: why no response star if OP has avatar?
... it will show you the threads that you've posted in, and will have the "red star/background" indicating new, unread posts - avatar or not. McSleepy It seems this process exposes a different curiosity: in this view any "personal avatar" each thread's OP may have is replaced by a generic "thread s...

Curiosity - perhaps OT: why no response star if OP has avatar?
I don't know the actual term for the star that appears in the list when one responds to a post - my question is why does the star appear ONLY if the box has a generic mark indicating traffic etc. I often scroll through posts and check those posts I have responded to before. If the OP has a personal ...

Re: Small Oxygen Concentrator info
...Have you investigated the EverFlo concentrator for use at home and one of the really small pulse models for when you are out and about? That was actually my first thought. The problem came when I factored in the fact that often "out and about" included travel and nights spent away from home. Con...

Small Oxygen Concentrator info
I currently have a Oxygen concentrator that is considered by my DME to be "portable" (O2 Concepts Oxlife Independence https://www.healthproductsforyou.com/p-o2-concepts-oxlife-independence-portable-oxygen-concentrator.html). While it is on wheels and is relatively easy to move about it certainly is ...

Re: Mask pressure vs. pressure in SH
My SH displays the Pressure graph as two parallel traces - red for pressure and green for exhalation pressure (EPAP) separated by the EPR value And mine doesn't and I can't for the life of me figure out why. See image below. Displaying EPAP (green) and/or Pressure (red) in the Pressure graph is an ...

Re: Mask pressure vs. pressure in SH
My SH displays the Pressure graph as two parallel traces - red for pressure and green for exhalation pressure (EPAP) separated by the EPR value. As one moves the green time line across the graph the trace's legend (upper left above the trace) displays the pressure and EPAP pressure at the point in t...
