Re: Titration Test Concerns/Questions
I'm a newbie, but this was pretty much like my sleep studies. Hurry up and wait, then no information. This will bump you up so maybe some of the experienced folks can comment.

Re: Any tips for sleeping with a runny nose?
Thanks for all the suggestions. I actually managed to sleep! I took codeine cough syrup, increased my humidity some, used mucin ex, Afrin, and an antihistamine. Oh, and "clear" aromatherapy. I still feel awful, but at least I got some sleep. I'm going to my doctor this afternoon.

Re: Any tips for sleeping with a runny nose?
Took an antihistamine and some cough syrup. Cranked up the humidifier a little. Hoping for the best!

Re: Lincare and Sleepweaver elan (followup)
Thank you Kathy for the information. I plan to call them today to discuss supplies. This time I'm calling the national number and not talking to my local RT. I will call you if I need help or PM you.

Re: Lincare and Sleepweaver elan (followup)
I bought the starter kit and a spare cushion from cpap.com. I just wish they were a preferred provider for BCBS o it would be worthwhile to submit it.

Re: Do I need a climatline hose?
Lincare called and left a message yesterday that it was time for a supply order. I will have to call them back and ask about hoses.

Re: Do I need a climatline hose?
I am using a hose cozy already. I like that it makes the hose more cuddly, but the air is still cold. Hmmm, I will have to check into when I can get a new hose.

Lincare and Sleepweaver elan (followup)
I talked to my DME about the elan. She had never heard of it, but found it in the Lincare system. However, they only had the starter kit listed. She said she could make it my "official" mask and I could get a starter kit every six months, and my machine supplies on the regular schedule. But no cushi...

Do I need a climatline hose?
I am still a newbie to all this (just at two months of xpap) and I just have a regular hose. I live on the Texas Gulf Coast where it's really humid and usually hot so when my DME said I wouldn't need it, I agreed because I am always hot when I sleep anyway. But now that we are having some cooler nig...

Re: Does Lincare carry Sleepweaver Elan? and other elan question
I would definitely try a small. The top piece above where the straps connect is what rides up and pokes me in the eye. Thanks for the info. I will swith my setting to "nasel" My leak rate is doing ok, usually below 15 for the 95 percent. Maybe it will look better if I get the machine set up right. G...

Does Lincare carry Sleepweaver Elan? and other elan question
Does anyone know if Lincare carries the Sleepweaver Elan? I plan to call them and ask but thought I'd see if anyone has any experience. I know not to believe everything they say I started out with the Swift FX for her so it's my "official" mask right now, but I'm finding out I pass it over every nig...
