Re: Pray for Mike

We should all be so lucky to have a caregiver like you, DoriC!

Take care of yourself....you need to come first, especially now.

Mike has good caregivers, even if the discharge doesn't go as quickly as planned while you get better!

Breathe Jimbo..............you could still try the Papcap, as it can be returned if it doesn't work.... Bret is wonderful to work with.....and for different reasons, I did return the papcap. I've also had success keeping my mouth shut using a simple $1 boil & bite mouthguard from the sporting goods ...

DoriC.......... When you document with your camera, it's very important to put a ruler in the picture--and so that usually takes two people to get the picture. Things can get blown out of proportion with the abilities of computers these days, but with a ruler, you can see exact measurements. We used...

Re: Titration study?

avi123: If you can ORDER it why not? I would if I could. The doctor may have some other, more cost efficient options for you to consider, or other posters here may have some valuable experiences and ideas worth your consideration. Just to have a costly titration, that may not tell you any more than...

DIY Dude: Wrote myself a prescription using the standard fax form from our host's website and sent it in with my equipment order ....Fortunately for me I'm a healthcare provider in another field. I do hope that you have a license to write prescriptions.........and that your state board doesn't nick...

Re: Requests for website features?

You are not alone thinking these things.........many new posters (and some more senior posters) contemplate possible changes from time to time.......but it's not the way of this board. Also, you can left click on the "replies" to have a pop up window open and tell you who and many times a person res...

Re: Do you unplug your CPAP when not in use?

I think that's strictly a personal choice..........some people have cpap's plugged into a surge protector strip and turn off everything, some don't. There's no hard, fast rule either way that I am aware of..........

Personally, I never unplug my machine during the day.......

Absolutely plug the card in and download the data when you have time.........I do it all of the time. Having the standardized card is one of the pro's of the S9 series......

Re: New user with S9 question

I agree with your provider.......you do get used to the pressure, and don't notice it, especially in the am when you've been wearing it all night. You can trust the numbers. The numbers roll into the average after noon each day..........so the numbers you viewed in the morning, are not available in ...
