I am now using a dental device for my sleep apnea, It is a dental device mandibular advancement device (MAD) that moves my lower jaw out when I sleep.
Seems to be working, but I find that I have my tongue between it, so it may be that it works because it pull my tongue forward, rather than moving lower jaw forward. Does it matter? Im worried it will harm my teeth, move them, or otherwise. Had a sleep study and they said it has reduced my severe sleep apnea from 55 to 5 AHI, which is about where it was with the CPAP. When I use it with the CPAP, tongue between it, the AHI goes down even further.
My tongue is between my dental device (MAD).
