Resmed VPAP iii ST - how to I completely disable alarm?

I just started using the resmed vpap iii ST and have an unusual setup where I vent through my trach and nose simultaneously and as I twist and turn a bit things can leak a little and boom - my wife gets startled awake by the alarm OR after I turn the machine off it comes back on with tube disconnected and same thing. On my older vpap ii I completely disabled the alarm as I'd rather not wake everyone up and if something goes wrong, such as power outage, I tend to wake up naturally to deal with it. On the ii I see all the alarms explained but not a way to disable the alarm system. Any ideas?

Edit: I just went to the alarms page and all the options are turned to "off". Yet if the machine inadvertently comes on before all my connection are secure the alarm still sounds. Maybe I should just call resmed when they openbut if someone has a suggestion here....
