Problem with Sleepyhead

Post by mesenteria » Thu Feb 01, 2018 7:14 pm

I am being prompted to log in with a password. The first time I used it, three days ago, it didn't require a password and read my SD card. Now I am continually being denied access. There doesn't seem to be a support facility on the site.

Please help.

Maybe it remembered you--but then forgot.
Always regard SH as "beta".
For what we pay, it is still a bargain.

Did you add a password when you set up a profile inside SleepyHead?
If you forgot the password, and all the data you need is still on the CPAP card do the following.
Rename the SH Data folder on your computer and SleepyHead will start as a new install.
Create a profile (I use fake information) and import from your card.
If this works then delete the Renamed old data folder.

Thanks to both of you. Freetimecreations, I tried what you suggested. Unfortunately, it asked for a password to the new profile name I created. So far, I have uninstalled the programme and its components and data, and tried to install it fresh, to no avail. Not sure where to go from here.

When you uninstall SH you also have to go into your MyDocuments area and manually remove a folder that SH puts in MyDocuments that contains all the profile and machine stuff. This folder is untouched when we do a normal uninstall of SH because it was put there for safe keeping in case SH broke and had to be removed and we didn't want to lose all the old data.

Try removing that folder totally along with another uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps or not.
