And please note that the word "banned" is not used anywhere in the article.

Each manufacturer was informed that based on their product’s intended use and technological characteristics, FDA review and clearance or approval is needed and that data would need to be provided to demonstrate safety and effectiveness.
That, in effect, is a ban.

So if I go to SoClean.com today and click on "buy now," nothing will happen? Not banned.

SoClean, oddly enough, in a strange twist of fate, can't even get other ozone cleaners "banned":

Nice try, but that has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Oh, dear JNK, you already knew that. You are forgiven.

Oh, if only rooster/roster was still around to explain all of this to you, before he was banned.

Well, believe what you want to believe.

Good day to you.

The timing is interesting, as there is an epidemic which is naturally causing heightened awareness of the need to practice good hygiene.

If you simply must use one of these devices, they should be run unattended with nobody in the room.

If it's an ozone device, the windows should be open while it's running, and the machine should be run for several minutes before using to make sure all the ozone is removed.

D.H. when did you hack Granny's account? Posting stupid stuff, not paying attention to things much talked about, asking questions that prove you're not reading (or not understanding) posts, arguing with the likes of JNK...

Very D.H., not like granny at all.

Or, maybe Granny has finally fallen off her rocker, though I hope not.

Forgiven for being right? How very kind of you, also atypical.

You've double downed on your foolishness, care to triple, or realize your error and fold?

As Forum Police Chief, are you here with a warrant or just conducting a police wellness check?

I say just roll her onto her left side so that she doesn't choke on her tongue, then let it play out. Her teeth look like they're in there pretty good. And it's not like she's in the way of any main traffic areas, or anything. I doubt she'll remember much of this tomorrow, anyway.

Mixing UV and Ozone on an empty stomach, just because she thought they were banned substances, is just no way to make the rhumatiz medicine, ya'll.

She did a lot of good in years past, and, well, D.H. really does need someone to talk to once in a while. I think they make a great couple, myself.

I, on the other hand, could sure use some leniency with these tickets and fines I've been racking up in this forum lately.

One thing about the SoClean sales info is that is "cleans". Now just how does it do that? I suppose ozone can sanitize if it is in a high enough concentration, but "clean"? Maybe you just end up with a dirty mask/hose, but that sucker is sanitized?

Just thinking I guess, but I definitely do not have a SoClean and never will. Warm water a soap occasionally works for me.

Given that you're the one that's usually running the siren and pulling people over for things like minor grammar infractions, that's quite amusing.

That has been mentioned, repeated, etc...

It doesn't "clean" anything, and it can't actually even sanitize, unless it's been physically cleaned, because of biofilms.
