also, check the selector box in the bottom right to make sure you haven't accidentally turned off any charts.

Maybe you overstated the case and your old machine is actually performing as designed?Sparky223 wrote:

I have the day off and the kids are home from school tomorrow. Going to try it out tonight.NachtWürger wrote:Glad to see you got the VPAP machine. I am quite fond of the VPAP.
I also would recommend you let the good Pugsy instruct you in setting it up to mimic the settings on your old machine. Murphy's Law is persistent and it is good to get some time with the machine before venturing to use some of the advanced features. I say this especially in light of your comments,

Weekends, when you can be idle the next day, are a good time to experiment with new settings.

there wouldn't have been a scroll bar on the right if there were no more charts... I'm not understanding what you're saying.Sparky223 wrote:Even scrolling down that is all the charts. I compressed them to fit in the screenshot. I did get my new machine today.

if those three were the only charts, there would be no scroll.Sparky223 wrote:I can scroll up or down until the cows come home. Those are all the charts.OkyDoky wrote:I think what it looks like you need to do is scroll UP.
I did just back my EPAP to 6 and PS to 3. I tried using it last night but I felt as if the air was being forced in to much and I started getting chest pains. Not heart attack stuff but like sore chest muscles. I ended up using my old APAP and felt better. Hopefully these new pressures will help.Pugsy wrote:Ahh...you are using a tight APAP range but not because you have limited the maximum...it's tight because the machine doesn't want to go much higher and the bulk of your 90% pressure is the test probes you are seeing...those saw tooth looking pressure spikes
Minimum of 9 and the machine doesn't really sense the need to do anything.
You could very likely get by with lower minimum if you wanted to.
Using the above as a starting point though if you want to use bilevel auto.
I would do EPAP at 7 or 7.5 and PS of 3 or 4 of your choice and set max IPAP at 20 but it won't ever go anywhere near there. I doubt it will ever hit 14.
