report spam button

Post by jules » Sun Dec 20, 2015 6:03 pm

that's what it is -

it isn't to pick and choose what posts are on the forum

it isn't to delete posts of ppl you don't like

it is to delete obvious porn and spam

that said I hope whoever deleted my perfectly valid post today gets their button taken away forever -

oh by the way I did report that my post was deleted

The deletion may be an accident.

Hello.

Which one? Was it starting a new thread?
Looking at your posting history, I see five of your posts in this thread and then the one previous to those is on June 9th.

viewtopic/t109528/blueTooth.html

And, you know I wouldn't have zapped it.

Good to see you hanging around again......now and then.

If I remember right, she had started a new thread asking if anyone had used the 560 with bluetooth. I saw it briefly but had already replied to her other post.

"jules" is a SHE.

(that's OK, I was confused for a long time, too.)

If no-one else didn't buy one, wouldn't that make it a very poor seller, I'd fire my marketing dept. Jim

Welcome to "the club". It has a rather large membership and I'm a card-carrying member.

yeah I remember that too Den

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and Den is correct to say the membership of that "club" is rather large - easy as a retired math prof to be "male" - remember one poor young lady who came into my office while I was still teaching wanting to know what Dr. X would do about her getting into his class - asking me like I was his aide ----- I finally told her that "I would ......... " - her faced turned bright red

the thread was also about the PR1 Auto 60 with bluetooth and as much as my question was answered I hope in the other thread, removing threads that are pertinent to the forum (ie on xpap and also on buying from our hosts cpap.com - not a complaint by any means about how nasty they are cause they aren't) are not why we have the "report spam" button

it seems that a machine can come with a separate module or a built in one - I basically wanted to know ppls experiences at CPAP.com with this

Is it possible someone removed it because they thought they were doing you a favor (having seen the second note and thinking it was really just a duplication but that you do not yet have your own 'spam button')?

She (Jules) has been a member since 2006.

Actually I have been a member here since 2005 - I did a name change as I had used the same name another place and started fresh here.

Last I knew even though I don't have 50 posts (which was required at one time) using that old name I have a "report spam" button on that account.

I have more than enough posts and since there was no reply to the post I think I could have deleted it without a "report spam" button or edited it to say nothing.

I did neither.
