Interesting CPAP nightstand

Post by postitnote » Wed Feb 24, 2016 12:37 pm

One could easily adapt an existing nightstand to do this but I was surprised to see this one featured in my local Menard's ad.

http://www.menards.com/main/home-decor/ ... NjI0OTA2S0

I kind of like how the side has a place for tubing and mask to come out.
Morbius, are you bored?

That's actually a great price.

Shame that I won't ever buy from Menard's again.

I've seen something like this in the past on Overstock.com.
Right now Amazon has a much more expensive Cpap nightstand.

My concern is that instead of just pulling the cpap machine on it's side when I am sleeping that I will take the table and lamp with it, but likely most people do not have this problem. My machine stays on the floor.

The nightstand is certainly nice looking.

I gotta black one. It is a great price. I think I paid $149 or $159 for mine. My wife even likes it. At night, I open the doors and slide the machine out. When I get up, I get my nightly readings, wipe down the mask, slide the machine back in and shut the doors. It's got slots for the hose to exit either side or the back, depending on the brand of machine. It keeps the stuff outta' sight, which I like. If I had a standard end table, one of my 12 grandkids' curiosity would finish-off my machine .

This looks very nice. I had no idea there was a stand like this. I just might get one.

I see now it can't be shipped. That's too bad.

Cute, love the idea of it being hidden when not in use. Just bought a new table for mine last sat.

Mine is still on an unfinished pine shelf, wood, about 10 cents.
Brackets a buck or so each. ---Saving up for something nice.

Look at Amazon. It comes in different colors. Search "cpap tables"

Mine was even cheaper ( $ 0.00 ).......and much older.
I've been using an old, square, wooden lamp table (18"w x 18"w x 26"h) that belonged to my parents (goes at least back to the 50's). I took it to college with me in the 60's and have used it for various things ever since. It also has a ridge around the top which also prevents the machine being pulled off during the night (it also sits on old mouse pads). It also has a lower shelf for other storage. Lots of sentimental value, though.

I bought my stand from Wayfair, When I got mine, they had free shipping. It basically comes pre-assembled. The sliding shelf is taped to the bottom of the cabinet. You have to untape it slide it in. My supplies, water and extra mask fit in the cabinet, which my wife likes since it is out of sight.
