I found this interesting article comparing machines, it looks like the resmeds and respironics did quite well. See link:

The majority of the machines are unknown in N. America, even if we've heard of most manufacturers... I wonder if we should assume all machines from the mfgrs we know are of the same quality as the N. American models.
