Vacation travel
Vacation travel
Hi. Does anyone have suggestions on alternatives to dragging the heavy cpap device on vacations of a week or so? Gets a bit awkward in airports.

Re: Vacation travel
Leave it at home and have a really really rotten vacation and maybe a stroke / heart attack like that judge.

It might be a hassle, sometimes awkward, but it's a lifesaver. Don't leave home without it.
You can venture in getting a travel machine, but make sure you study it's features. In my case, I made a mistake in getting a travel machine which didn't have EPR. I use EPR back home with my primary machine. Subjective post ofcourse on the EPR feature.

Re: Vacation travel
Leave everything else behind, but your cpap and your money.
After a good night's sleep (sans jammies),
enjoy shopping for new clothes, etc.
Travel light, but carry the hardest thing to replace.
Do not check it; baggage handlers break stuff.

Re: Vacation travel
Yes that is the best way to travel, one change of clothes, underwear, sandals, money, cpap machine, meds, tablet and my knitting (lace - doesn't take up much room). If it doesn't fit on the back of a bicycle, don't take it.chunkyfrog wrote:Leave everything else behind, but your cpap and your money.
