Vacation travel

Hi. Does anyone have suggestions on alternatives to dragging the heavy cpap device on vacations of a week or so? Gets a bit awkward in airports.

"Get a new model and carry it proudly. They are all lightweight", said the small, elderly lady who proudly carries hers through airports.

Let your wife carry it.

Leave it at home and have a really really rotten vacation and maybe a stroke / heart attack like that judge.

It might be a hassle, sometimes awkward, but it's a lifesaver. Don't leave home without it.

You can venture in getting a travel machine, but make sure you study it's features. In my case, I made a mistake in getting a travel machine which didn't have EPR. I use EPR back home with my primary machine. Subjective post ofcourse on the EPR feature.

Leave everything else behind, but your cpap and your money.
After a good night's sleep (sans jammies),
enjoy shopping for new clothes, etc.
Travel light, but carry the hardest thing to replace.
Do not check it; baggage handlers break stuff.

Yes that is the best way to travel, one change of clothes, underwear, sandals, money, cpap machine, meds, tablet and my knitting (lace - doesn't take up much room). If it doesn't fit on the back of a bicycle, don't take it.
