Has Imgur changed how to post images?

I went to my Imgur account to post a new chart to CPAPTALK.com and everything is changed. I can paste my image in the box but nothing after that is the same. Can't get to the page to select size or BBcode. HELP

Did you actually log in to your imgur account? You have to be logged in to get the addresses that offer the linked bbc code address as an option.

You have to be 1...be logged in and 2...click on the image you want to share to see this.

I must be logged in when I go to the web site, as it has a spot for me to "log out" there.

Then are you clicking on the image you want to share?

Takes both being logged in and actually selecting the image to get the box.

I just now did it when I posted that image...nothing appears to have changed to me.

When I am logged in I see my imgur account name in the upper right corner...I don't see a choice to "log out" unless I click on my account name.

Right, that's where I see the "log out" also. So, does that NOT mean I am logged in when I first go to Imgur.com???

I'm screwed, I messed around, signed out, then tried to sign in again and it won't accept my old name I used with my old password or let me create a new account using my current e-mail address or user name or my real name which I used before.

Oh well, couldn't get it to work so guess you all just won't be seeing my fabulous charts .

A good reason to save them off on your computer and a second removeble drive, and us really picky use a third removable device. I'd wish I had started that 12 years ago, lost a lot files I wish I still had. Jim

On the sign in page, click 'forgot', and i'll send you a password reset to your email address.

WHOOPY, got signed in again...Now if I can figure what I'm doing wrong to get to the page I need to post a image. have to try a bit later, dinner is calling and then the game is on.

I looked at imgur before I saw your "couldn't get logged in again" post, and it looked the same to me... but maybe it's been a while since you posted.

On the upper right, click your username, then select 'images', there should then be a big green box that says "add images" You can drag or select images from your computer. then once the image you're uploading shows up, click it, and you should get the image, with a selection of options on the right like pugsy showed earlier.
