What do others here think of this idea for change?

What happens when the other posts need to be seen?

I prefer it as is. Most of the regulars know how to easily quote just the section that is pertinent. Newbies often don't know how, but they can eventually learn.

People just need to learn how to use the quote and edit functions on the forum editor and they can omit or add anything they want.
It's not just newbies who don't know how to edit. I know some long time forum veterans who don't have a clue what the edit button allows them to do.

I'll also vote for this quote behavior...much easier to eliminate quote context than it is to re-create it manually; i.e. leave in the full quotes, and let the poster edit out what isn't relevant, that's easy to do.

Another vote for killing the "read a thread, get a new tab" behavior. ...

I've caught up to this thread, and heard your many posts loud and clear.

I've pushed a change to that behavior to make it stop. My fault, I misunderstood earlier requests, and took it to mean all thread links, including the threads themselves, should open new tabs.

In most cases, it's even easier than that. First, click Post Reply. Second, put the cursor in the reply box. Third, go to the post you are quoting and highlight just the part you want to quote. Fourth, click the Quote icon in the box you are quoting. The highlighted part will pop into your Reply box. T

I still get this message below if I attempt to add someone to my Foe list.

If I click on the foe button, I get the same message.

If you can't Foe Pugsy, what is the point of having a Foe List?

Friend / foe links are working as expected now.

You might also want to mention that you SCROLL DOWN to find what you want to quote... not attempt to go back to the post.

I was not aware of the highlight and quote button method.

The emails I receive to alert me to new posts ... The URLs are there, but all run together within one paragraph ...

I've released a fix which should correct this. Please let me know if you spot any more issues with this.

You guys are doing a bangup job addressing the items. One thing, don't forget that Tapatalk still does not function properly with the forum. There are no postings showing on the page in that app at all.

Thanks for the reminder on that. I'm currently working with Tapatalk support to see what we can do to resolve this.
