I"m also an early riser 6 to 7 hours but every now and then I'll go 7 1/2 hours.

I just started xPAP Wednesday, but I’m firmly not in denial, based on results thus far: as many hours as I’m trying to sleep.

I don’t have a firm number yet, but the goal is about 8 hours/day. My situation is such that it seems almost every hypopnea or flow limitation too far along the way I have fully wakes me up as of this time, and that’s why, along with desats enough to sense in daily feeling, is why I’m doing it.

I see it as an imperfect artificially-created reality that is still superior to the even more imperfect natural reality.

Machine says 8 hours, but takes me 30-45 to fall asleep. I'd say 7 hours.

Hmmm. I'm about 8 hrs. But I often turn it off and lay awake. I sleep better without the mask.

I typically run 6 to 7 1/2. My wife normally runs around 8. I sleep less than she does. I have for most of our married life.

8:04 over the past year with an average AHI of 0.94. I fall asleep within 5 minutes.

Interesting question, LC!

I am in the 6-7 as an average. Sometimes less, sometimes more. But typically fewer than 8 full hours.

That said, before xpap, I was at more than 8 hours (and it was not, of course, good sleep. At all.). And, I needed a nap at noon as well.

I use my machine for about 7 hours, but actually only sleep about 6 due to awakening from RLS.

I averaged 6.0 hours this year. This is not a planne limit, but after about 6 hours I wake.

Body prefers 8.25 hrs without alarm; I feel most rested with that amt of sleep. I average 7-8.25, occasionally fewer and rarely up to 10-11 hrs. Less than 5 mins to fall asleep (often before APAP light goes off) so machine time is reliable number.

In bed by 10:30, read for a bit, then asleep no later than 11pm.

Up at 5:30AM.

Between 6-8 hours depending on a weekday or weekend. No less than 6 hours unless it's a bad night.

When I started a few years ago I was sleeping less and only used it for around 6 hours per night.

Now, usually around 7 1/2 to 8 hours.

I signed up for MyAir and got so annoyed with never scoring 100 that I found myself going for the 7 hour target.

Now, sleeping longer has become a habit. That's about the only good thing I have to say about MyAir.
