tooth/jaw pain from mask fastener

Post by Leea » Sat Dec 01, 2018 2:07 pm

I switched masks and the new one has a magnetic fastener, Resmed Airfit. That makes it thicker than the old one. The fastener sits over the jaw joint. I now have pressure sensitivity at that point, lower teeth. It only bothers me when I brush my teeth. It tends to be the soft tissue. My dentist was not able to find any cause. So I wondered if maybe pressure from the mask was causing it. I sleep on my side and don't feel it then but maybe the overnight build up gets to me. There is no way to adjust the mask to move the location of the fastener. Has anyone else had a issue?
Thanks
