monitor just O2 levels using sleepyhead

is it possible to upload O2 levels from my oxyimeter into Sleepyhead without having a corresponding CPAP session? I can't seem to get the native SPO2 software working no matter how many times I've tried and also everything I've read, so I was hoping I could use sleepyhead instead, for just monitoring O2 levels. I have been able to use Sleepyhead 'realtime' and import data from oxyimeter with a corresponding cpap session so I know the connection is good and data is being uploaded.
