Transcend battery light flashing while charging

Has anyone had experience of the Transcend battery light flashing while it is charging? I've just been making sure my batteries are fully charged as I need to use them next week but while charging one of them the light started flashing. I'm worried that the battery is faulty. I have bought two batteries within the last year and used them for a total of 26 nights, say 13 nights use each which is about 7 charges per battery as each lasts two nights. They are hugely expensive so I won't be amused if I have to replace it. The warranty is only for nine months and I've had one battery for 12 months and the other for 10 months. I've contacted the company I bought them from but in the meantime I'm slightly concerned about using the flashing one although it seems to power the machine okay. I'll be off grid for several nights so one battery will not be enough.
