Sleep Apnea and sleeping on a plane

I was looking at finding flights for my parents from NYC to Hawaii and I noticed if I was going it would have be a very long day for me as I couldn't really sleep on the flight. Has any one ever used there CPAP on a plane before?? I would assume that one would have to have a battery for it as I don't think even if the plane had power at the seats it could provide that kind of high power output.

I'll let those who have used their CPAP while flying respond to that. If you find out you can't use it, you might want to experiment a bit before your trip and see if sleeping upright with a cervical collar to keep your neck aligned allows you to at least doze without snoring or obvious distress. (If you can sleep sitting up that is.) Everybody's different.
