The fact that the headgear is actually adjustable is great, too...maybe they can add that to the P10, they found a clever way to allow adjustment on the P10-style headgear.
You have a P10??? If so...Can you check to see if the N30 headgear will even fit on the P10 frame? They look very similar. I was wondering if they could be swapped out.
Earlier in the topic, weroberts75 claimed that the straps were identical between the the P10 and N30.

The headgear is completely interchangeable; the mask frame is not.

I got an N30 over the weekend and the first thing I did was change out the headgear.
It has the exact same dimensions as the P10 headgear, except for of course the adjustable clip on the N30 headgear.

So, if you prefer the simplicity of the P10 headgear but want an N30, you might consider buying just the frame assembly.
And, if you prefer the P10 but want an adjustable headgear strap, then just buy an N30 strap and put it on your P10.
Would like to see a couple others confirm.

Thanks, I must have missed it.

Will make it nice for the people who maybe prefer the P10 pillows and frame but just hate the headgear since it isn't as adjustable as some people need.

Agreed.

I loved the minimal nature of the P10 straps, but hated how they lost their springback. I got tired of cycling three sets of straps. I've since moved on to the P30i, but am interested in getting an N30 strap to put on my P10 and keep as a spare.

The idea of an adjustable / minimal strap is very appealing.

Sidebet: within 6 months ResMed will have a set of Pillows that snap on to the N30 frame. That they'll also sell the whole mask with the confusing name P30.

I won't bet against you. I thought the same thing the first time I looked at the N30 up close.

Well, I'm a contrarian. I had thought (actually, hoped) that ResMed would have made a new Swift FX that had the same kind of venting as the P10 years ago. Boy, was I wrong *smile*. So I'm not willing to bet that ResMed will ever do the obvious thing. They seem to just move on and do the next thing, not have a long range plan.

Hoping I'm wrong again *smile*.

I hope they do. I love, in general, the idea of interchangeable components.

Can someone share just how the clip on the N30 makes it adjustable? I can just barely see it in the pictures and it doesn't tell me how it makes things adjustable. Is it just a built in version of the little clip that we can put on the P10 or is there something else that I can't see?
Velcro? Extra elastic???

Thanks. I don't have the money to be buying the N30 to experiment with so I won't be testing it personally.

Haven't actually switched the headgear from the P10 to the N30 or vice-versa, but visually they look interchangable. The clips for the headgear are a little different shape, but they operate the same.

Update: switched the N30 headgear onto the P10 this morning. Perfect!

I got mine yesterday, and I generally like it, but does anyone have any advice on securing it in place more?

I'm rethinking the post I put here a month ago. The straps are interchangeable, but you might need more tension with the N30.
It might be safer to go with the adjustable strap on the nasal mask, especially if you have a small head.

I use a https://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Master-smb ... B0015NZ6FK it keeps it in place. The N30 is definitely the best mask I have used so far.

Trying again, I think that I just need more time to get used to it, different than what I’m used to. Made it through last night, and seemed comfortable and quiet enough. Worth working with it. I’m still hopeful that this one will work for me. Less leakage with the mask not as tight, which is what I need at this point. Ever since the Mohs surgery, nasal pillow masks have been marginal for me. Still work, but I need to have them tighter than I’d like.

Time will tell *smile*.

Just for the record, I made a new thread earlier this week about the N30 headgear fitting the P10.

It does fit and fits perfectly with NO modifications whatsoever.

I will have a review of the N30 maybe next week.

Then I want to try the P10 with a new cushion and the N30 headgear.

Hi all-

I received my N30 4 days ago and I love it. Quite an improvement over my P10. I like not having anything in my nostrils, plus the N30 stays where it's supposed to when I'm sleeping on my stomach. I had lots of issues with my P10 getting bumped and losing it's seal multiple times a night. I spend most of the night belly down so this is awesome! Extremely glad I bought this and hope it holds up. Give it a shot. :D
