Well....the chances of that happening are about as good as pissing into the wind and expecting to stay dry.
I have always said that people in general don't change or won't change unless it's for the worse. Why so many marriages fail because someone thought the spouse would change (or they could change them) for the better.....and they never do.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Anything labeled OT has always been given a very wide latitude before any eyebrows get raised.
I am not surprised it has turned a shade political and in fact surprised it hasn't happened sooner.
In my mind the virus is part of the politics unfortunately.
I love the memes....related to virus or whatever. They make me smile and that's always a good thing.
As or taking an OT thread OT....find me any thread that hasn't gone OT in some way or other given enough time. Heck, we had one go OT on the first page after 1 response to a post. Went to cars and YMMV stuff. It would be a never ending cleanup job for me to police OT stuff and quite frankly I don't have that much time to waste. As long as it doesn't get ugly or you catch me in a bad mood and it annoys the hell out of me...I don't think anyone really cares.

If you all wan't I can do that. I just want it to stay friendly and fun. So many other places being over run with the nastiness. Politics has even seeped in to the animal rescue groups and the sewing groups.
I just want to bury my head in the sand and pretend the world isn't on fire for 5 min a day.
