Post by springman946 » Thu May 21, 2020 8:09 pm

hello I'm looking for a battery to run my bipap machine off of in case of a power outage or camping I have searched some websites but their prices are more then I want to pay for a battery 200 and up does anyone have any recommendations as to where i can fine a battery for cheap price of course where I live i don't lose power hardly at all so I would only use the battery for something like camping. and if i needed to a power outage

You are going to have a difficult time find a pre-made solution, cheaply,

Your solution is to make your own.

Here's a YouTube video that does a pretty good job of showing how to make and wire a battery box suitable for providing 12V power via a lighter adapter.

I wouldn't recommend the old car battery used in the video, instead use a new, reliable AGM battery described in CapnLoki's parts list post.
