Respironics FitLife Total Face Mask - anybody using it?

Post by wannasmile » Tue Oct 06, 2020 2:03 am

Learned of the FitLife total face mask today which covers the entire face in one giant mask.

My biggest question is if anyone here is using this mask AND with a high pressure.

Reviews of the mask said at higher pressures it distorts or leaks a lot.

My average pressure is maxing out my APAP at 20. At that pressure basically no mask works for me, but this FitLife intrigues me.

Thanks for any info you can share

It's known to leak a lot - not sure if anyone these days uses it, though people in the past have tried.

If the manufacturer would improve the cushion, it would fit more faces.

Really poor fit for me, I have a huge head, but a long back to front head, wide mouth, but side to side my mouth starts sloping back faster then average. so huge gaps on the sides of my mouth with the mask that was "big enough" for the rest.
Instead of Sleep apnea it should be called "Sleep deprivation, starving of oxygen, being poisoned by high CO2 levels, damaging the body and brain while it's supposed to be healing so that you constantly get worse and can never get healthy Apnea"

Thanks for the replies. I am tempted to try it from cpap.com since they allow returns and since it's the only other style of mask I haven't tried...but also I'm just so tired of being disappointed
