Blindfolds

Post by FaethSilverwolf » Wed Mar 03, 2021 9:33 pm

Hello Everyone,
I know I'm not around much but I have become more or used to my CPaP now. I'm just curious if you all know of a Blindfold that works well with Full Face Masks like the Air Fit F20. I have tried alot of blindfolds and there is always light next to the nose area. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Helpful..... Not. See I have another condition that if I wake up and can't see anything i get dizzy from the spinning feeling I get, and that follows with nausia and Vomiting. SO I have no choice but to have a night light on. But I have always used a blindfold on nights that I'm unable to sleep to "Turn out the Lights" as you so obviously said. As if I wake up feeling like I'm spinning I can just take the blindfold off. I don't need anymore sarcastic remarks please.

paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is my other condition.

your best bet is to put goofproof on your foe list.

i use just a generic sleep mask from amazon. i also use a scunci headband over the top of it. this seems to block out any light seeping in around the nose.

mind you, i don't use a full face mask. i use a nasal pillow mask. so i don't know if wearing a headband on top of your sleep mask will all fit under a full face mask.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

I have the 40 blinks eye mask, but I hand sewed a tuck in the middle to close the gap near my nose.
I don't need a mask most nights, but if the sun is up too early for my taste--it's handy.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'll try and figure out how to sew the tuck in the middle to close the gaps.

You might have lead with having a medical need for a light on in the room. rather than putting another item on my face. I would use a device like a Clapper, (Clap on Clap off) to turn on a light. { also have Led nite lights that turn on when they sense movement.. Just some ideas. Jim

The bullfrog put one in the kitchen.
The light goes out when I'm at the sink, because I'm out of range there.
