new motor for ResMed airsense 10 for sale

Post by mikewhitt » Wed Nov 03, 2021 9:20 pm

I recently found and purchased a replacement motor for my ResMed Airsense 10. I was quoted a few weeks to get a replacement unit, so I purchased a new motor to fix it myself so I wouldn't be without sleep. The day I received the motor, my replacement machine arrived. I cannot return the motor, no refunds, so I am selling this new motor for what I paid for it. $235.00. With a few standard tools, you can replace the motor easily and save hundreds. The motor is still in the original packaging. please let me know if you are interested. thanks for reading. Mike

If you still have the S10, fix it!
It can either be your backup machine or some poor soul
stuck in the respironics rabbit hole will happily pay you for it.

The market for a WORKING Airsense10 is far greater than that for a naked motor.
Few people will even consider tearing into a cpap machine.
That motor will only gather dust unless you do the work necessary.

I feel for you, buddy. Why would someone buy a new motor from an unknown source (you), when they can get it for the same price from a known supplier? You might sell it at a deeply discounted price.

Or a better idea ...

Opp's looks like someone got it after all, glad to see some brains here still working. What makes the jump to the motor being bad, there are many parts the must work before the motor can run, do you have the tools and special knowledge to diagnose complex machines or, do you just use the shotgun method of repair.

Did you check your warranty before you voided it by opening it up? You have the motor, Lock & Load, Fire in the Hole, pull that trigger. Don't forget your safety glasses and ear plugs. Jim

Maybe he bought the motor on the advice of the automatic DISPLAY MESSAGE,
which, as we know is nothing more than a sales pitch.
Did the original S10 actually quit working, or did the OP assume it was dead on the
suggestion of the motor life message?
It takes all kinds, and we get them here.

Curious -- what suppliers will sell a new replacement motor to an end user?

I actually have a Airsense 10 that recently started making a whirring noise, kind of like a fan in a desktop where the bearings are going. Ive seen a few used motors on ebay and the like, but never a company selling a new motor.

Thanks!
