Simplus FFM cushion defects? Whistling noise

Post by raisedfist » Sun Aug 21, 2022 6:43 am

In the last year or so it's been a 50/50 chance of getting a cushion where the exhaust holes are apparently not laser cut correctly, and I get whistling/loud venting noises when usually the cushion is whisper quiet. This is factory new sealed, and of course I've tried cleaning it properly, making sure it's connected to the frame correctly, etc.

Now all I can think about is whistling in the dark...

(Specifically, about the song by "They Might Be Giants")

There are no exhaust holes in the cushion......

I have not used my Simplus in about a year, but in the 2-3 years I used it, I never had a problem with whistling.. About a year+ ago I switched to the Simplus's cousin...The Vitera. Very similar to the Simplus but with a couple upgrades. You might try it.
