My Resmed Airsense 10 Did Not Come With An SD Card, What Should I Buy?

Post by filmstreamer1 » Mon Feb 12, 2024 3:26 pm

Wanted to get started with setting up Oscar and optimizing my sleep apnea but I don’t have an SD card and wanted to know what kind/recommendations to get.

I have a resmed airsense 10.

Any generic/cheap SD card 32 GB and LESS will work just fine. The kind about the size of a postage stamp.
I get mine at WalMart and I get the smallest capacity and cheapest as possible.

Probably 4 GB is actually sufficient in size but those smaller cards are getting hard to find and very pricey when you do find them.

Don't get one of those micro teeny tiny SD cards though. Adapters are needed and generally more expensive anyway.

When I donated my used S9 Elite, I kept the sd card.

As mentioned any capacity will do. You may have a used one laying around, just backup and remove any data on it.

I found this in a quick search on Amazon for an example.

The smallest one I found at Bestbuy was 64 GB for $13. It was definitely overkill, but it was the Friday before Christmas and were bringing home my wife's new Airsence 11. I wanted to be sure I could monitor her therapy details and setup her machine correctly.

I asked my DME for one. They gave me a new one with ResMed's logo on it. My DME is local to four counties. Your DME may not be as accommodating.

In this scenario my DME is the zip lock sandwich baggie in my drawer with a few dozen defunct memory devices stored in it. Sadly these Resmed machines don't work with 256MB Compact Flash cards - who knew? :?

Crapria told me they don't have SD cards available, even though they had just provided a new Airsense 11 autoset.
