This group is designed for anyone using CPAP.

This group, sponsored by CMH's Regional Sleep Disorders Center, focuses on education, open discussion, problem-solving, and mutual support. This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of ODD months at Community Memorial Hospital. For more information, contact Careconnection at (262)251-1001. Meets in the Treiber Conference Center.

All in all, it was a great meeting. Food, food is always good!

Pretty much, the facilitators were looking for topics we would like to see at future meetings. Our group ranged from folks on CPAP for 10 years, 4 years, 3 years .. down to us rookies. It was interesting to learn how much I have learned from this forum .. thank you!

Our next meeting will be in January.

Thanks for the report, AuntieNae. I'm in south-central WI, and so far I haven't heard of any such support groups or meetings around here. I was curious to hear about the meeting you mentioned, though.

I sure am glad we have this forum: none of the cpap users I've met around here are as knowledgeable or curious as those on the forum. Then again, I haven't met very many, and I expect if there were a group of us meeting somewhere, I'd find at least a few folks who'd be very much involved in their own therapy.

Sounds like it might be well worth going to weather permiting in January. I plan to call to check out the topic and if any reps are going to show up to answer questions. Heard sometimes they have food and drawings to make going worthwhile.

Thanks for the information on the Support Group. I'm in Milwaukee and hope to attend in January (1/27 ??)
