Not sure about other UK members here and have to admit would be interesting to know!
More accurate for myself is I had been going to the Drs concerned about lack of sleep and excessive daytime sleepiness. I advised sometimes would be in bed almost 12 hours at weekends and still feel like had no sleep at all.
It was after about the 4th Dr I saw who had been away at a medical conference and had been discussing sleep apnea that he decided to send me for a study. He said before then he hand't really heard about it and said a lot of other Drs would have been the same.
