Resmed S9 reporting over 20 hours use per day

Post by SleepyTiger » Mon Aug 01, 2011 12:04 am

Hi all,

My ResMed S9 is reporting 21, 24 hours usage, per day, on the "Info" sleep report.

Have any of you run into this bug?
Know how to make it go away?

Thanks,

Sleepy Tiger

Did you try rebooting the machine? Hold down the start/stop button for three seconds to turn it off, then push again after about 20 seconds. Or just pull the plug, wait, and plug it back in.

The first time I encountered this, disconnecting the power plug resolved it. The second time it happened, I had to get a new machine.

This just happened to me. I didn't get any detailed data and the next day the hours were just added on to the previous day and still no detailed data.

I unplugged the machine and waited a minute or so, plugged it back in and still no change. So I unplugged it for 4-5 hours so It would trip to the next day. I also took all the data off the SD card and reformatted it.

Plugged in the machine and it showed zero hours and I got detailed data the next day. I'll have to see if this solves the problem for a day or if it's a longer term fix.

Sheesh! The S9s and the PR S1s sure seem to be having a LOT of problems!
