Hair thinning

My hair dresser has noticed that my hair is thinning at the top of my head where the head strap connecting plastic sits. she also noted there is a wavy line of hair across the back of my neck (where lower strap goes) that is always there. I wear my hair short. I've used CPAP for almost ten years and use nasal pillows. This seems like a minor problem, I know. However, if I have to look "scary" at night, I'd like to look my best during the day.. Anyone else experience this? And have you found a soltuion? Thanks
