Remstar auto system one- how to upload data

Post by tomjax » Tue Dec 11, 2012 10:30 am

I just got a DS560S brand new unused and it is much different than my remstar APAP.
got it from craigslist for 210.00.
Instead of a smart card it has a sort of SIMcard attached.
What uplaod sevice do I need?
The manuals do not seem to have this info and probably assumes all such should be done by doc.
I have disconnected the humidifier and do not plan to use it.
Help

Smart cards were these
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... -card.html
Use on Respironics models before the introduction of the PR System One model series.

The PR System One model series uses regular SD cards like this one (name brand but generic will work)

I have no idea what you are talking about when you say "Sim card"...are you meaning the SD card I linked to above?
Have they changed it with the 560 machine?
If it's a regular SD card you just use the SD card slot in your computer and use the software.
EncoreBasic or SLeepyHead with the 60 series patch.
If you are seeing a totally different kind of card...it would be helpful if we could see the card that they are using.

You would need newer Encore software. Your Pro version is way too old for the PR S1 machines.
Encore Basic is the easiest to use and you can find out how to get it in UncleBob's signature line. It will work just fine with the 560 machine.

It will work with 32 or 64 bit Windows 7 and below computers.
It will work on Windows 8 but it won't install...it has to be copied and pasted from installed folders on another computer not using Windows 8.
EncoreGuide link this will show you examples of what you will see. For a different machine than yours but the basics are the same.

You can also use SleepyHead but need the 60 series patch.
