ResMed S7 Lightweight free (plus shipping) to good home

Post by mellabella » Tue Aug 06, 2013 3:46 pm

Very basic, "well-loved" CPAP, but does include heated humidifier and works just fine. CIrca 2004, so hour count pretty high. But if you've got nothing at all (a DME charged me $700 for it because I was uninsured!), it's a start. Let me know why you need it and we can work out shipping and payment via paypal, etc. (I have a newer backup machine now.)

FYI, this machine has no data card slot; the only data available is compliance which
is displayed on the machine.

But still, it could be a lifesaver for someone in need of a machine.

Exactly. As I said, this is the most basic machine possible--no exhalation relief, no card, no data, no nothing (there is a ramp, and altitude adjustment). Easy to google for specs. But I can't see tossing it since it worked for me until I could afford better (and I'd love to send it directly to someone in need before I go to a charity).

So what price are you asking for this very old machine and what year did you pay $700 for it?

Sorry about that, missed the free and thought the paypal was for machine and shipping. How many lashes should I give myself.

Yikes-- no good deed goes unpunished! Not everyone on the internet is trying to arrange a swindle or a bait and switch when they appear to be trying to be kind!

It says very clearly that I paid $700 in 2004--and it would have been such a blessing if I had had the option to save that money for other medical expenses because I was able to find a deal like this (which is, once again, free plus shipping, just like it says in the title and the body of the post). I was clear that it's literally just the reverse vacuum cleaner kind--no bells or whistles, but so much better than nothing when your health is on the line.

I'm excited I can finally afford (still with help of the board) a top of the line, data capable machine, but I wasn't there financially for a long time, and that's the position many uninsured folks are in (and I do have insurance--it just doesn't cover durable medical equipment for UARS).
