Which chinstrap?

Post by CpapDude2012 » Sat Aug 17, 2013 1:26 pm

I have used the resmed and respironics chinstraps, what are some other ones you like or have experience with? There are some pretty cheap ones on ebay...

Do you want cheap or good?
PapCap...It's comfortable and it works.

I have unfortunately not had many people tell me they use chinstraps with much success.

For a short time yes, they are a good training aid. Overall though, most people practice keeping their tongue on the roof of their mouth or use other methods to keep the air in the circuit.

Sorry, this post doesn't help answer the question. I wish I could post that there was in fact a chinstrap that worked well.

I really like the Puresome. I use the straps both in front and back of my head for a secure fit. It's comfortable, and it's inexpensive. Here's a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Puresom-Secure- ... 589fa42040

This one does end up stretching out, but it takes awhile. I usually buy 2 a year.

Another vote for the PapCap. Works well for me.

Others have posted good things about the adjustable version of the Ruby.
